Relic Commander: Development is underway
We are pleased to officially announce **Relic Commander**, a **browser-based MMO** **turn-based strategy game** combining **science fiction**, **survival**, **colonization**, and **industrial management**. In Relic Commander, players take on the role of a **Commander** aboard a modified relic ark, tasked with establishing a human colony on a distant exoplanet after the collapse of Earth. Between industrial development, research, logistics, exploration, fleet automation, and tactical combat, the objective is clear: survive, expand, and rebuild the foundations of a new human civilization in a hostile environment. The project is currently in active development. The focus is on building the core foundations of the game: overall architecture, main systems, gameplay direction, lore consistency, and initial interfaces. The goal is to establish a solid base before gradually expanding content and moving toward playable testing phases. The current objective is to reach an **Alpha phase by the end of 2026**. This timeline is intentionally cautious, as development progresses step by step with a strong emphasis on stability, clarity of mechanics, and overall coherence. Development is moving forward steadily, with much work still ahead, but a clear direction is now established. The goal remains the same: to build an ambitious, coherent, and lasting experience, and move toward an Alpha by late 2026.
